7 Ways to Eliminate Back Pain

 In Fitness, Uncategorized

Many of us will experience back pain at some point in our lives.  In fact, stats say that 85% of Americans suffer from back pain at some point in our lives.   Over $50 billion is spent each year on back pain relief and it is the second most common reason for seeing a doctor!

This is amazing to me.  I have been lucky to never experience debilitating back pain, but I can say that I have experienced some back pain in my time training.  To help all of you back pain sufferers out there I figured I would throw out some 7 simple ways to reduce your chances of or possibly eliminate your back pain for good!

Before we start it is important to let you know that if you have back pain you need to find the underlying reason. There can be numerous causes for back pain and most of it can’t be fixed with one simple stretch or activity.  I highly recommend seeing Dr. Kyle True at True Health and Chiropractic in Elletsville.  Dr. True is amazing and will work with you to get you feeling better in no time.  My wife, Kim, goes, Wil goes, I go, and most of our team at Force goes to see Dr. True if we get a nagging little injury or needs some help getting worked on to fix some movement patterns.

Now we will get the list of 7 ways to eliminate your back pain!

1) Foam Roll

This is probably the easiest thing you can do each and every day, several times a day to eliminate your low back pain! For $20 you can get a roller at Force and have it with you anywhere you go.  Spending time working around you hips and lower body will greatly reduce the stress on your back, especially if you sit throughout the day!

2) Stretching

After rolling you can start to improve the length of your muscle and correct some length imbalances that you may have, especially in your hips.  Follow this routine each day for improved back health!

3) Improve your mobility!

Most of the time stretching isn’t enough, we have to improve the way you move and make your joints more mobile.  Here is a great routine to follow every day.
