Meet Our 2018 Spring Interns
Greetings, my name is Marcus Kroh and I am very excited to have the opportunity to intern for Force Fitness. I grew up in Wabash, Indiana and became serious about weight lifting and training while participating in high school sports. I am currently finishing up my last semester at IU and will graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science.
Throughout my time at IU I have been the Candidate Platoon Commander for the Marine Officer Program at IU. I have completed the Marine Corps’ Officer Candidate School and will be receiving my commission as a 2nd Lieutenant this summer. While in the program, I have had the opportunity to physically prepare IU students for the rigors of Officer Candidate School. This has been a wonderful experience for me and has afforded me the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of different training methodologies.
Force Fitness has a reputation of being one of the best training facilities with some of the best coaches in the Midwest. I’ve always strived to be the best at whatever I commit myself to, which is why I’m very excited to work with Force. I look forward to learning a lot not just from the coaches at Force, but also from the clients and contributing in anyway I can to make Force Fitness even better.
My name is Ben Weller and I will be starting as an intern in January. I am originally from Seymour, Indiana and attended IU for my undergraduate studies where I received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. I then went on to attend physical therapy school at IUPUI and graduated in 2015. Since graduation, I have been working as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist for IU Health. I also spend a few hours a week as a home health physical therapist. In my free time, I enjoy strength training, cooking, hiking and camping.
I am excited to get started at Force in order to have the opportunity to reach people before they are injured. I look forward to spending time in a health facing environment that promotes wellness in an inclusive, community centered way. I hope to promote an active lifestyle and to help you reach your fitness and lifestyle goals.
