Smoothie Blog Post
A few things before we start:
1) We always use almond milk or water. Never skim milk, regular milk or any other calorie containing liquid.
2) We always use Prograde products because of their quality and effectiveness.
3) The blender of choice for me is the Ninja! Not only does it have an awesome name but it will blend anything. If you have some extra cash you want to spend a Vitacost Blender is probably the highest quality blender on the market.
4) Give some of these a try for breakfast on the run or as meal/snacks during a busy day.
The first smoothie for you to try is in honor of all Girl Scout Cookies that I am seeing around! Thin mints are probably the most popular Girl Scout cookie so we will do a Chocolate Mint Smoothie today!
Chocolate Mint Shake
1 – Cup of Ice
1 – Cup of water
2 – Scoops Chocolate Protein Powder
¼ to½ tsp. – natural peppermint extract
Mix all ingredients in a blender and enjoy!
Enjoy this shake while everyone else is munching on those cookies and you can actually decrease your waistline!
