Thank you, Force Moms
In honor of Mother’s Day, I would like to say thank you to all the Moms who are a part of the Force family.
Thank you for the endless love and encouragement you offer your kids through the good and the bad times. The snacks that you bring for after the games, and even the discipline you give because in times where we think presents are the best gifts, the best gift is truly presence.
Your presence as a mom has made us into who we are today. It gave us the courage to take risks and pursue goals that many people told us were impossible. You were the voice in our ears when we thought about giving up, and the voice that kept us humble during our greatest accomplishments. There were plenty of times we didn’t agree with your decision, but within in a few minutes we knew you had our greatest interest in mind because at the end of the day there is nothing like the love that a mother has for her child.
This post may seem personal because it is, but when I reflect on stories I’ve shared with others, most stories of a mother and her kids are similar. They’re filled with ups and downs, laughter and tears, but at the end of the day a mother always has her child’s back.
Once again, Force Moms, thank you for all that you do. You have set a great example for your kids by putting your health first and taking the time to take care of yourself, because when you’re at your best, everyone wins. Know that even though there is only one day in which we honor you for what you do, every day you’re appreciated and celebrated for what you do.
